July 4th Parade
If you want to be IN the parade, be downtown at St. Paul Harbor Spit at 10 am on July 4th. (Point "A" on the map below.)
If you want to WATCH the parade, it begins at 11 am. The parade starts at St. Paul Harbor (Point "A") and goes over to Rezanof (Point "B") and back around to the Harbor (Point "C").
There will be children, adults, flags, music, dogs, and motorcycles in the parade. Be sure to clap for people as they walk by you, and put your hand over your heart and take off your hat for the flag! Also, be on the lookout for the giant fish made from recycled trash that has been collected from our beaches. This fish is outside the harbor office downtown. There is a Community BBQ at the American Legion (near Wells Fargo Bank) after the parade, and you can get hotdogs, hamburgers, soda, etc.
Congratulations to several students who became U.S. citizens this year!!
