It's a busy weekend around Kodiak!
12 pm, Saturday, June 15, Fort Abercrombie.
Lunch and Tidepool walk. Meet at Lake Gertrude Beach. Wear weather appropriate clothing and bring rubber boots. Bring snacks/lunch/water. Lake Gertrude is the lake "inside" Fort Abercrombie park. If you walk the trail next to Lake Gertrude, it will bring you to the beach.

"Waves of Change Youth Film Premiere"
Join us at the Kodiak Teen Center for the premiere of ten short films produced by Kodiak 7th to 12th grade students in a summer History and Film class.
Students interviewed individuals in our community, conducted research, and shot, directed and edited their own films on the impact and stories of the 1964 earthquake and tsunami in Kodiak.
Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. The Teen Center is located across the parking lot from the downtown Post Office and behind the library.
If you're can't go on Saturday, the films will be available on the Baranov Museum's YouTube channel next week. Go to our links page to and click on the link.
